VIBRATION
PREDICTION
Protec's Vibration Prediction Reports and Impact Calculation
Studies provide valuable assistance in forecasting vibration
levels prior to the start of work. Using software programs
custom-designed by Protec to accurately consider relevant
jobsite variables, our in-house engineering team can
provide formal documentation designed to ensure that
your project progresses smoothly. As an added measure
of reliability, Protec researchers can compile and submit
vibration data recorded under similar or identical conditions
by drawing upon our database of thousands of previous
projects.
VIBRATION MONITORING
Documenting the specific effects that work is having
on adjacent liabilities can be one of the most critical
aspects of any project. Using state-of-the-art portable
field seismographs, Protec's experienced site representatives
measure ground vibrations and air overpressure levels,
which can quickly alert you to any potential problems.
Protec representatives can also help "defuse"
neighbor's fears by addressing their concerns in a professional,
knowledgeable and congenial manner. In many cases, our
team's ability to show prompt, personal attention to
these concerns further reduces the likelihood of unsubstantiated

NOISE MONITORING
Protec performs independent noise monitoring using state-of-the-art
Type-2 sound level meters capable of recording Leq,
Lepd, LAE, LASmax, and Peak dB "C" Level measurements.
All field monitors are fully compliant with ANSI standard
S1.4. As with vibration monitoring services, Protec
representatives can relay this information to your field
team in real time, and alert you to any problems or
potential noise code violations prior to receiving complaints.
VIDEO DOCUMENTATION
Whether used to verify field production, settle disputes
or for post-construction restoration, Protec video surveys
provide a detailed, comprehensive record of site conditions.
Using the latest advances in high-resolution technology
(including our fleet of High-Definition cameras &
recorders), all surveys are recorded with computerized
on-screen computer overlays that continuously display
specific project data. Additionally, when the time comes
to review tapes months or years later, finding a specific
location will be quick and easy using Protec's custom
designed data-indexing system which is included with
every tape.
